During fall of 2007 we visited this wonderful property and fell in love. Then in May of 2008, we became the proud owners of the Mas de la Fourbine although it took us almost 5 years of scouting out properties before finding the right one.

We live in heart of Silicon Valley in California, close to San Francisco. In the 1980’s, we made our home in Aix-en-Provence. It has always been obvious to us that someday we would have to come back.

For over 30 years Jacques worked in the High Tech Industry and traveling the world was part of his job. He has been passionate about skiing from childhood and golf since he began playing in his early 20’s. Both of our sons also enjoy these sports.

Judy mothered 3 children and worked in the High End Real Estate market. But her passion has always been horses. She began riding at the age of 8 and continues to share the love of American Saddlebred horses with her daughter.

When ever possible, we traveled as a family and saw some amazing places. We experienced uneven levels of service in all parts of the world. We decided that we wanted to buy a beautiful house and share it with others but most importantly it would have to offer excellent service and comfort.

After purchasing this property, we furnished it with authentic Provençal furniture, using classical colors and materials along with a touch of high tech and a bit of a California flair. The combination is unique for the region. Now we are working on making the Mas a starting point for different activities. In 2009, we will add a list of activities like golf, cooking, and photography. Just ask and we will do what ever is possible to meet your requests.

This project will provide world class lodging to families and friends. Our home is proving to be a focal point for our French and American families and a comfortable place to gather. We hope that you will feel the same and have an unforgettable time when you come to our home.
